Aufgabe

The Canal de Isabel II Hall in the heart of Madrid was to exhibit the famous work from renowned artist David Delfín. Delfin is one of the most forward-looking and controversial Spanish fashion designers. He came into fashion through painting, where he worked on paper, canvas, and wood. Delfín, represented a new generation of young artists and fashion designers in the millennial era.

The biggest challenge for this project was finding a projection solution that was bright and colourful enough to simulate the sky, covering the entire ceiling at a huge height above Delfin's work. A relaxing space needed to be created where the visitors could sit and relax whilst looking at the remarkable work from designer Delfin. Further to this, another huge challenge was creating a tubular structure for visitors to go upstairs to view Delfin’s full collection.

Lösung

Creamos Technology is a professional audio-visual installation company who specialise in music and events. After receiving the brief for the exhibition, Creamos selected the Optoma ZU850 as the perfect solution due to its spectacular image quality, low maintenance, and ultimate reliability.

The ZU850 combines superior colour with exceptional brightness consistency. The innovative MultiColor Laser (MCL) technology delivers ultimate colour performance whilst the DuraCore laser light source maintains exceptional brightness consistency.

Delivering an astonishing 20,000 hours in full brightness mode, this projector achieves superior colour rendition through MCL technology producing visually striking lifelike images with exceptional detail.

Designed for even the most complex professional installations, like the Delfin exhibition, the ZU850 has multiple optional lens options. The BX-CTA16 ultra short throw lens was selected for ultimate installation flexibility in a space with restricted placement options. As well as this, the ZU850 Optoma projector has outstanding dust resistance ensuring industry-leading durability which is paramount for the 24/7 maintenance-free operation in the challenging exhibition environment.

In addition to this, two-floor monitors and a powerful sound system were installed to make the whole experience more immersive.

Ergebnis

Exhibitors at the Canal de Isabel II Hall can now enjoy the stunning work from renowned fashion artist; Delfin. The installation was very successful and completed quickly and the work from Delfin is now beautifully displayed and complemented using technology from Optoma.
