Optoma advances its full HD Corporate Projector Offering

London, April 2010 – Optoma, worldwide leader in the DLP projector market, today announces the launch of the full HD 1080p EH1020 business projector.

Designed specifically for the high resolution projection market, this projector combines unrivalled quality and performance with an outstanding specification including a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 3000 ANSI lumens to produce astonishing detail and clarity in one projector.

Trusha Shah, Senior Product Manager, Optoma Europe, commented: “The EH1020 has a 1080p native resolution for situations when you need to make an impact. It produces crystal-clear, bright and detailed images; perfect for technical presentations, advertising media and medical environments where creating the best possible impression is paramount.”

In the EH1020, Optoma has designed a projector that incorporates a Texas Instruments 0.65” 1080p DMD chip capable of fully exploiting the latest BrilliantColor™ enhancements. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that its unique guarantee warrants image and colour quality will remain as new for at least five years.

A full set of connections including audio capable HDMI output and a full 8W speaker ensure that the EH1020 will perform perfectly in almost any multimedia situation. With AMX™ Dynamic Discovery compatibility and an extensive RS232 command set, the EH1020 is easily installed into network environments and the dual audio inputs allow the EH1020 to function as both audio switcher and volume controller.

Optoma was amongst the first projector companies in the industry to introduce less than 1W power consumption in standby mode. The EH1020, therefore not only delivers reduced running costs, but reinforces our commitment to “environmentally friendly” with features such as timer control functions and fast shut down and start-up.

In standard mode, the EH1020 lamp has an outstanding life of 4000 hours, lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) and coupled with our “filter-free design” ensures virtually free maintenance and reduced ownership costs.
